UMass Lowell Cheerleading This is the official UMass Lowell Cheerleading page keeping you up to date on our program!

The University of Massachusetts Lowell cheerleading program is a competitive Division 1 team. UML cheerleading brings River hawk spirit to select athletic and community events. The team provides spirit and performances at Men’s & women’s Varsity basketball games. In addition to these events, the team trains and practices year round to compete locally and nationally. The UML cheer program is partia

lly funded by Club Sports and supported by both the Club Sports and Athletic Departments. The team also participates in various fundraising events throughout the year to help fund the cost of travel, entry fees, and program costs. Thank you to everyone who came out to our Youth Cheer Clinic! We had the best time cheering, tumbling, stunting, and making memories with all of our amazing future cheerleaders!!

A huge thank you to all of our participants, families, and everyone who helped make the day so special. We hope you had as much fun as we did! I hope to see so many of you back for our other youth clinic this winter!! 💙✨

The wait is finally over—our Summer Youth Clinic is almost here! ☀️🎉 Join us on August 22nd for an unforgettable day of learning, cheering, and fun!

Our Friends & Family Performance will take place in the clinic space at the Rec Center, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
