Join the Lovettsville Waterford Ruritans this Saturday, March 28th, at the Lovettsville Town Green from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM for their annual Eggstravaganza! This fun-filled event will feature egg hunts for multiple age groups, an egg toss, unicorn rides, games, face painting, 50/50 raffle, and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Be sure to bring your appetite (and a little cash) for relay races and some delicious hot dogs fresh off the grill!

2026 SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANT – $3,000 EACH
The Lovettsville-Waterford Ruritan Club is proud to offer five $3,000 awards to graduating seniors continuing their education at a four-year university, community college, technical school, or vocational school. Deadline is April 7th.

⭐ LW Ruritan Ambitious Spirit Scholarship
The Mickey McDowell Scholarship
Awarded to a student who has demonstrated perseverance
by overcoming significant challenges or adversity.

⭐ LW Ruritan Community Service Scholarship
The Henry & Marty Dyker Scholarship
Recognizes a student who has made meaningful contributions
to the community through volunteerism and leadership.
The Dyker’s lived lives devoted to serving others.

⭐ LW Ruritan Humanitarian Scholarship
The Barbara & Robert Carr Scholarship
Honors a student who has shown sustained and focused service
to genuinely needy individuals or communities.
Robert Carr was a founding member and 33-year member of the Ruritan Club.

⭐ LW Ruritan Good Citizen Scholarship
The Irma & Roger Powell Scholarship
Recognizes students who positively impact both their
school and community through service and character.
Roger Powell served as a U.S. Army veteran and Loudoun County Sheriff.
Irma Powell dedicated herself to serving others in the community.

⭐ LW Ruritan Williams Entrepreneurial Grant
The Buddy Williams Entrepreneurial Grant
Awarded to a student who has started—or plans to start—a business
and needs capital for technical training, licensing, equipment, or supplies.
Created for dreamers, inventors, entrepreneurs, and independent thinkers.

Today may be a SNOW DAY but the Lovettsville Dolphins Board members have been hard at work planning an exciting 2026 Swim Team season! Registration details and information about all the fun we have planned will be coming soon!

As we kick off the season, we are reaching out to secure sponsors for 2026.
