Come on out to the Rockford Home Show Feb. 27- March 1 at the Indoor Sports Center for a weekend of home inspiration, expert advice, and 200+ local vendors—from remodeling, solar, windows, and doors to landscaping, flooring, decks, roofs, and more.

It’s a fun family outing too—kids enjoy free activities plus live shows like Birds of Prey, the Bubble Wizard, and Bug Squad. Family fun is free, and kids get in free!

Today we celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day! 🏅 We’re proud to honor the achievements of our Rockford Park District female athletes and continue championing equal opportunities across our district.

Over winter break, we partnered with the Rockford Raptors Soccer Club to host the She’s Got Game All Girls Sports Clinic. The clinic gave young girls the opportunity to explore and try a variety of sports, helping them discover new interests and imagine what athletics they might want to pursue in the future.

A few scenes from the Stateline Fast Pitch Softball Tournament that made its way to our house over the holiday break. Having a large field like Dimke Field gives us the versatility to host a wide range of sporting events, from soccer matches and softball tournaments to the Park District’s annual Football Training Camp and more, helping keep the facility active year-round, even the day after Christmas!

The 14th RPS 205 academy expo was held at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two today, featuring 2,000 freshmen students and 100 regional businesses and organizations!

Rockford Park District hosted 3 booths, including graphic design, information technology, and therapeutic recreation!

Congratulations to Louis Mateus, General Manager of our Sportscore Complexes!

We want to give a huge congratulations to Co-Founder Louis Mateus on his recent re-election to serve on the US Soccer Federation board of directors and USYS Board of Directors. Louis re-election will come with a four year term where he will continue to help grow the game of soccer.

Louis has been a mentor to many and has helped 1000s of players and coaches. We at the Rockford Raptors couldn’t be more proud of his accomplishments and we are excited for his journey for the next four years to continue to shape the game we all love.

Men’s, Women’s, and Co-ed indoor soccer leagues are starting soon at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two! ⚽️We offer recreational, intermediate, and competitive divisions to fit all skill levels.

Men’s and Co-ed leagues begin October 10, and the Women’s league begins October 13. Games are played Friday nights at the Indoor Sports Center at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two.

The Team Illinois Summer Lacrosse Invitational and Showcase returns to Rockford this weekend, bringing one of the largest and most competitive lacrosse events in the Midwest to the region at Mercyhealth Sportscore One and Two.

This year’s event will welcome over 265 teams from more than 12 states, featuring an estimated 2,120 athletes and attracting more than 20,000 attendees, including coaches, families, and fans. The tournament has become a major draw for elite youth and high school lacrosse programs nationwide as more than 80 college coaches representing NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, and JUCO programs will be on-site, offering unmatched exposure for student-athletes.

📍 Please note: Due to heavy tournament traffic at Sportscore One, boat ramp access may be limited. Parking fees will be collected at both locations by Team Illinois Invitational and Showcase.

We are excited for this new addition right behind the Indoor Sports Center! The playground and soak station are open to the general public—even when tournaments and events aren’t happening—making it a fun and welcoming space for the whole community to enjoy!
