It’s a treat in Historic Loveland, Milford, Miami Township, Newtown and Lebanon. Affectionately called the “Loveland Bike Trail” it is the Little Miami State Park and it is 70 miles long with connections to well over 100 miles. Free parking, picnic tables, rest rooms, easy access, coffee, ice cream shops, restaurants and entertainment have made Loveland, Milford, Newtown, Miami Township & Lebanon

excellent staging areas. In 1870 what is now the trail became the Pennsylvania Railroad, trains stopped operating in 1962. of Natural Resources began development of the Multi Purpose Paved Trail we have today.

Safety Improvements on the Trail.
Per Friends of the Little Miami State Park https://www.littlemiamistatepark.org/ Rapid Flashing Beacons, ADA curb ramps, and crosswalk markings are being installed at several busy intersections on the Clermont County portion of the trail. Trail users may activate the flashing beacons by pushing a button. LIMITED TRAIL CLOSURE - Dear Friends of the Bike Trail:

Friends of the Little Miami Scenic Trail report:
The Rte. 22 bridge over the Little Miami River is scheduled for rehabilitation beginning June 7, and trail traffic will not be able to cross at Old 3-C Highway (Foster) for 40 to 50 days during construction.

Laura lost a gold bracelet likely on the trail from downtown Loveland heading north about 1.5 miles or at the park right there in downtown Loveland this weekend. It’s a thin gold chain with a small green stone in it. If you find it I will be happy to connect you with a very grateful Laura! Martin
