Protects the lenses of a scope and allows a hunter to see through the scope if a shot is warranted. To do so the lenses have to be clear so the scopes clarity is not affected. Shoot-Thru scope covers have interchangeable lenses, therefore differnt shades of lenses can be used to match changing conditions or replace worn lenses so the viewing quality is not affected.
