As Pilates in the Rockies opens its doors for its soft opening today, it feels like the perfect time to introduce the founder behind the studio and share the story that led her here.
A Colorado native and graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, Jenn Lazetera spent the early part of her career as a petroleum engineer before discovering Pilates. What began as a personal practice quickly became a passion, leading her to trade spreadsheets and drilling reports for teaching movement and helping others build strength, confidence, and resilience.
Jenn completed her 500-hour comprehensive teacher training through Joie De Vivre Pilates in Denver in 2016 and made the leap from engineering to teaching full-time. Over the past decade, she has taught, led, and owned Pilates studios of all sizes, helping thousands of clients build strength, improve movement, and gain confidence in their bodies.
Known for her clear instruction, encouraging approach, and commitment to individualized attention, Jenn specializes in helping clients connect more deeply to their movement practice. She is the founder of Pilates in the Rockies, where she offers private classical Pilates instruction in Loveland, Colorado, and hosts intimate Pilates retreats in Estes Park designed to help participants recharge, reconnect, and prioritize their well-being.
Jenn is currently pursuing her Master Instructor Certification in Classical Pilates with Lesley Logan, continuing her commitment to preserving and sharing the depth, integrity, and transformative power of the Pilates method.
When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her planning her next international adventure. Her love of travel and experiencing new cultures inspires the sense of curiosity, connection, and intentional living that she brings to both her Pilates practice and retreat experiences.
Thank you for being part of this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to welcome you to Pilates in the Rockies.
