Coles Foundation Inc. x . is launching a self-made program to help keep our kids active, productive, and earning money while learning real-life trades and work ethic.

Our upcoming GreenWorks Summer Program will give youth the opportunity to stay busy, work hard, make legal money, and be around positive role models while learning hands-on skills they can carry with them for life.

We are currently accepting monetary donations to help us become fully equipped for this summer program. No donation is too small — every dollar helps us put these kids in position to be successful.

Starting June 1st, West End residents, homeowners, landlords, and property owners — if you’re looking for consistent, affordable lawn care this summer starting at just $30, support the youth of Coles Foundation Inc. . GreenWorks Program.

We are in desperate need of yards to schedule for summer cuts to help keep these kids busy, productive, and earning money toward their financial goals instead of being idle. Right now, we have 12 young participants signed up ready to work and learn responsibility, teamwork, and work ethic through honest work.

Please help us spread the word and lock in yards ahead of the June 1st start date so these kids can have a strong and productive summer.

Da Guyz 4th Grade battled through a competitive weekend at the Oldham Co. Colonel Classic to capture the 2026 Championship with a 3-1 overall record. The team opened pool play with a dominant 48-20 win over Kentucky Basketball Club before falling in a close matchup to Scott Co. Elite, 32-28.

On Championship Sunday, Da Guyz responded in a big way. They defeated Team McGinnis 33-25 in the semifinals to punch their ticket to the title game, then closed out the weekend with a hard-fought 40-35 championship victory over Demi Rayn.

Da Guyz finished the tournament with 149 total points scored and a +37 point differential, showing toughness, resilience, and championship energy all weekend long.

Congratulations to the players, families, Coaches Jeff & Quan, and everyone supporting the movement.

Coles Foundation Inc. is asking all West End residents to support our by booking your yard service ahead of time for our discounted $30 community rate.

This program helps keep kids busy, productive, off the streets, around positive role models, while earning money and learning real life work skills the legit way.

We can’t make this happen without the community supporting and giving these kids yards to service. Every booking creates another opportunity for a young person.
