J.R. Williams is absolutely killing it on this football field grow in at Kentucky Country Day School

Previous poor agronomic decisions fell in his lap when he took the position in October, and he is working to correct all of them.

First pics are of May 29, plenty of bare spots from a haphazard seeding of Bermuda during August 2025 with seeding of Rye in August and October, choking out any Bermuda that might have established.

June 1, 20,000 sq ft of sprigs from the pitch of Lynn Family stadium were topdressed onto the KCD football field. This was followed by a topdressing of Turf Mend impregnated with more Bermuda seed.
