WHAT. A. WEEKEND! 🎣🔥

Virgil Hardin III and I had the opportunity to fish the National Catfishing Expo Presents The World Catfishing Championship this past Friday and Saturday, and I can honestly say it was one of the most impressive tournaments I’ve ever been a part of.

From start to finish, this event was top-notch and professionally run in every way. The venue was incredible — and you can’t beat a drive-thru weigh-in at the convention center! Every team had their own walk-in song, there were fireworks, smoke effects, and an atmosphere that made the whole experience feel electric. It truly felt like something special.

The excitement started Thursday night at the captain’s meeting where all the anglers were treated to an amazing dinner and first-class hospitality. You could tell this event was built with the anglers and fans in mind.

If you missed it this year, make plans now to attend next year. Trust me — it’s something you need to experience for yourself.

Huge shoutout to Damian Clark Steve Douglas , Krystal Clark, and the entire staff for the countless hours, hard work, and passion they poured into making this event what it was. Your dedication to the sport and to the anglers did not go unnoticed.

I truly believe this tournament is only going to continue growing, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see that 100-boat cap reached next year!

Already looking forward to the next one! 🎣🏆
