🏀2026 Seneca Shootout champions 😤🏆🥇

Also huge shout out to sophomore guard, Jeremiah Queen for being recognized as tournament MVP after a 19 point performance in the championship win over W.E.B DuBois! Way to go, Butta! 💪

It was a long couple of days, but well worth it! Great to see the players and parents there both days helping. It takes a village!

Special shout out to Seneca Past and Present, Inc. and President Rob Holmes III for showing up yet again for our kids! 🤛🙌

🔴Ava Sorrell-Young competed today in the KHSAA state championships in Lexington. Her performance speaks for itself as she will come home with 2 gold medals as well as 2 state records!!!👀

🟡Anyone who knows Ava, loves her. She is the most positive student-athlete you will ever meet! Her Seneca and Louisville Lightning family could not be prouder! 🫡

🏀Join us in welcoming new Head Girls Basketball Coach, Chynna Bozeman to the "Hawks Nest"!

⚫️Chynna comes to Seneca straight from the college ranks. Coach Bozeman has spent the last 2 seasons at St. Francis University (PA) where she served as an assistant coach for 1 year in 2024-25, and was then promoted to Head Coach for the 25-26 season. Prior to her stint at St. Francis, she was an assistant coach at Morehead State University where she also played during her collegiate career. Chynna left Morehead State as their all time scoring leader and had her jersey number 2 retired by the MSU athletic department.

➡️ Coach Bozeman had this to say about making the switch back to high school. "I am thrilled to join the Seneca Redhawk family and get to work. I bring a development- first approach to everything I do, both on the court and off of it. I am committed to building a program here where every player develops her game, her confidence and her character, and looks back knowing this experience mattered."

🎉Congrats to Nalani Campbell on becoming the newest member of the Midway University Eagles flag football team! 🦅

Nalani also becomes the first Flag Football signee in school history.🙌

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room after everyone spoke tonight.
