Hello, players, parents, and families. The Louisville Soccer Club wanted to update you on lots of exciting things happening this week for all of our players.
On Tuesday, September 15, the Louisville High School Boys soccer team is hosting a youth night starting at 5 pm for JV and 7 pm for Varsity as they face off against Boardman. All LSC youth can get into the game for free by wearing one of their LSC jerseys. There will be a raffle, 50/50, a bake sale, and during halftime of the varsity game, there will be a $1 shot on goal to win prizes.
On Sunday, September 20, the soccer club will be participating in the Constitution Parade. All youth are invited to walk along or ride on the float that we will have.
Parade begins: 2:00 PM
Starting location: Louisville High School/Middle School parking lots. All participants must be in place by 1:00 PM
All LSC players are encouraged to participate! Come represent Louisville Soccer Club, wear your LSC gear, and help us show our community what our club is all about!
LSC Float - Coaches Heather and Aaron Wiseman are working on an LSC float for the parade! If you're interested in helping with the float or decorating, please reach out to Heather or Aaron at 330-445-9118
Important: The parade route is about 3.5 miles, so please make sure you and your child are comfortable walking that distance before signing up.
Candy: Participants who walk may pass out candy along the route, but candy may NOT be thrown from the float or by participants.

We are excited to announce a fundraiser aimed at helping reduce costs for our players. Over the past few seasons, equipment, supplies, field rentals, referees, and insurance expenses have, in some cases, doubled. Although we have managed to keep costs down so far, we would love to continue this trend or even lower them for our families.
We encourage each player to participate in a simple fundraiser called "Color in My Soccer Ball." In this fundraiser, players can ask for donations of $1, $5, or $10 to help fill in the spots on their soccer ball. For every completed soccer ball a player submits, they will earn a $10 discount on next year's registration.
Coaches will be receiving the forms to hand out within the week if they haven't already. You can also find printed forms at the Louisville Public Library in the Makerspace if you need them. Thank you for your support!
