Concepts in grappling are key. Often times it’s not just about how many techniques you know, but what solid fundamental concepts can you apply under pressure.

One great example of this is knee and elbow connection and the importance of setting a strong frame. If you can set a strong frame you have a solid defensive foundation to attack from. Without the proper frames in place, you are firing without a solid base and leave yourself vulnerable on any missed attack.

Welcoming all athletes/competitors to the Memento Spring Open on April 27!

This will be a great opportunity to showcase our grappling to the community under the most modern and exciting rule set. There will be divisions separated by age, weight, and skill. The tournament will be officiated by competitors as well as the event will be live streamed on our YouTube channel. Doors open at 8am but the event won’t start until 9.
