We have a little room for the Women’s Self Defense Class tonight at 6:30. Last week we worked on striking and this week we will be working on defense against arm and wrist grabs, while using the striking skills that we learned last week. It’s not too late to come out and join us.

In 2026 it’s time to break out of your comfort zone. Starting January 7th we will be offering a Women’s Self Defense Course! We will teach you where to strike, how to strike, and how to deal with a larger aggressor. This class is perfect for women that have never done martial arts before.

Here is what to expect:

Week 1: Striking and Situational Awareness
Week 2: Defense against arm and wrist grabs
Week 3: Defense against Shoulder and Throat Grabs
Week 4: Defense against strikes
Week 5: Defense if taken to the ground
Week 6: Escapes from ground attacks

To ensure that you are getting the absolute best instruction possible, we are only accepting 10 women per session. Contact us asap if you are interested.

Huge thanks to Troop 365 for coming out and learning some self defense techniques. It looked like everyone had a great time and learned a lot. You guys were a fantastic group of people to train with and we look forward to doing this again.

We are beyond excited to be partnering with Scarecrow BJJ to start offering Jiu-Jitsu classes for kids and adults on August 11th. Matt Harrison started training in 2008 and earned his black belt in 2021. He also has a green belt in Judo. He brings a ton of experience coaching kids for both sport and competition.
