Thirty Day Community Fitness Challenge. The Winner receives $1000.00 dollars.
30 day challenge begins May 10th 2021... All exercises will be performed in the gym and counted and documented by me, Oscar Taylor.
You must 18 years of age, a member of the gym, and train with me (Oscar Taylor) at least two days per week.
All participants must train with me a minimum of two days a week to be eligible. In the event there is a tie, the event will continue between the participants that are tied for 30 more days. Upon another tie at the end of the extra 30 days, there will be a drawing by placing names in a jar. Winner will be determined by random draw.
Each participant will receive one point for completing each outlined task/rule within the 30-day period. Each task must be documented as described below.
Lose four pounds within the thirty days. Initial weigh-in will be performed on or before 10th of May 2021. Final weigh-in will be performed June 10, 2021 at 12pm.
Attend any church service. (Minimum of 60 minutes) within the 30 day challenge. Please document what you took away from the service, and turn in to Oscar by June 10.
Complete 500 Push-ups. Document progress on whiteboard in the gym.
Complete 1000 sit-ups. Document progress on whiteboard in the gym.
Complete 500 hundred ball slams with 10-pound ball. Document progress on whiteboard in the gym.
1. Perform 600 body squats. Document progress on whiteboard in the gym.
1. Complete 500 lunges and document. Document progress on whiteboard in the gym.
1. Jog or walk a total of 60 miles.
Attend a family dinner at your favorite restaurant with 3 or more family members. (pictures or a FaceTime call along with your receipt)
Attend a yoga class at Train & Go Fitness Center.
Volunteer at a community organization (boys or girls club, church, etc.). Document and turn in
Try something you’ve never done before and write a minimum 25-word letter describing your experience.
Perform (6) acts of kindness to a stranger and document them.
Self-care isn’t selfish... Do one thing for your wellbeing that you have been wanting to do for a long time. (Document this event, a minimum of 3 sentences)
Receive 1 bonus point per-person you get to join the gym. If your new member joins the gym AND purchases 12 training sessions with me, you will receive one additional point for a maximum of 2 bonus points per new member.
