Gotta love when you get a new ball! Just went and picked up a NOVA today, realized my bag was full of virtually all symmetric pieces and figured I should get some a-symmetric balls and figured this would be a good place to start! Took some videos of it on a super messed up house shot from a lot of open bowing but the ball did not look bad, also was throwing my phaze 2 to compare it with as it was drilled with the same layout!(videos in comments!) We will see what happens when it comes to league with this ball!

These past few weeks I have felt like things are starting to come together, still working through pulling it together to where I feel confident anytime I bowl. Over the last three weeks I have had 2 chances at getting 300 #2 and last night was closer than the first time, two weeks ago I go front 9 then pull the ball in the 10th and go for 276(pulled it again on the fill shot), then last night I managed to get to the 12th ball, liked the shot off my hand, and just couldn’t get the 7 out this time, still proud of how I have been throwing the ball and how I threw it last night! As always repping throwing the trusted Phaze 2, also repping

This summer was rough for me, after having to take the summer off due to my shoulder finally catching up to me to where I finally decided enough was enough, and about a month of physical therapy that I am still continuing, I finally am back out on the lanes.

This week was the first time I competed since Memorial Day, and I honestly have to say that I shocked myself! Sunday, I bowled the Kingpin League Invitational, bowled 4 games moving pairs and managed to put up 844 plus my handicap to pull out a 16th place finish. Tuesday, I bowled the last of the Wolfe’s Doubles Sweepers at Fern Bowl, where for three games with my partner Michael Vuick, I shot 628 plus 33 pins, and he shot a solid 705 for us to make the cut, we got through our first round of match play only to go against our friends Joey Keown and Mike Conn, it was a close match but bad breaks cost us in the end. Then to wrap up the week, started my Wednesday night league at kingpin for the season, where we basically all struggled to figure out the lanes, but still pulled out a solid 575. For all 3 instances I used my which is easily one of my favorite balls!

Overall, I am happy with how I did over these roughly 11 games this week as I roughly averaged 205! Thank you to all who support me and who continue to follow my journey through bowling!

So tonight on the 14th anniversary of my grandmother passing, during league tonight I knew she was with me and watching me, as I dedicated tonight to her fully. The whole night I felt like I was throwing the ball the best I had in a long time, using my go to ball of my Hot Cell, I managed to pull out a 685 series tonight! I only missed 3 spares in total and did not miss a single pin at all! Tonight my game just felt complete. Tonight was for you grandma, I even wore your favorite color for you ❤️

Today is the city tournament, so I figured maybe now I should post my scores from Monday! Used my phaze III all night Monday, first time using it so had to adjust to it but still managed a decent series with it! My goal for today is just to put up a good showing!

Late post but here is how I did Thursday night! Missed way too many spares and just all around struggled. Lanes were not playing how I was used to so had to open up the lane and that is a point where a lot of days I seem to struggle. I have less than a week until city tournament, my goal for this year is to shoot 700 at least, but I will gladly take a series that is at least a decent 600, this week will be used to get my mind into a good space before Saturday!
Used my phaze II mainly Thursday night!

So I didn’t bowl bad today, still working to get my mind going into a better place in general but also when I go to bowl, managed to shoot a solid 630 series, and also felt like I was able to read the lane a little better than usual tonight, found a line on both lanes that seemed to play different from the first ball of practice, luckily I was able to save myself from throwing away my decent series by realizing I didn’t need to make a ball change in the middle of the second game! Threw my all night long! Really hope to get my mind in a good place before the weekend of the 15&16th when I go to bowl my local city tournament, truly this year I am hoping to put up a good showing, but to do that I have to get my mind in a good place!

Realize I haven’t posted in a while, and honestly I haven’t been in the best place mentally about my bowling game as of late, so I was hesitant to post my scores, but here they are from tonight and the last Monday I bowled. Last couple of times has been a bit of a struggle just trying to find a ball to match up with the lanes, and trying to stay out of my own head, it will take work but it’s what has to happen! Without your mental game in check your showing will be poor on the lanes as well!

Sorry for the late post, but last night once again was a bit of a grind, once again had to rely on my spare game to grind out some decent games, not 100% upset with my series just shows me that I still have a lot to work on which just means I have to make time to get out and practice!
