Not everyone's goal is to "lose weight!" This personal training client actually gained 2 lbs on the scale and lost 6% body fat over the past 12 weeks! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

When the Dr. tells you that you are in the beginning stages of Osteoporosis (due to hormonal medications) and you need to build up your bone density and muscle mass, that's what you do! ๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿ’ช

Strength training is beneficial for more than just "losing weight". ๐Ÿ‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

Improves cardiovascular health
Increases muscle size and strength
Promotes mobility and flexibility

She put in the work and is much stronger! Her workout log shows undeniable evidence of strength gains. We started with 30lb dumbbell squats and ended with 3 full sets of 125 lb barbell back squats! ๐Ÿ‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

We can't wait for her next bone density scan! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿ”ฅ

But there's more....after the first 6 weeks, we added her husband into the program for the remaining 6 weeks.๐Ÿ‘ซ He had major mobility issues due to a previous shoulder injury (I can relate to that!).

We saw great improvement in mobility and his range of motion!! His log is also very impressive, continually increasing weight along the way. ๐Ÿ‹โ€โ™€๏ธ His lab work also showed amazing improvements all around the board, blood pressure, cholesterol levels...so. much. Improvement. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

At the end of 6 weeks we like to look back and see how the hard work paid off. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ช I am so proud of each of the ladies who completed the past 6 weeks! ๐Ÿ˜ Some choose not to share their pictures publicly and that is fine. ๐Ÿ˜Š They know how they did and should feel so proud of themselves! ๐Ÿ‘ Our March Madness challenge winner lost 7.75 inches and 8.5 lbs (not pictured below)!! ๐ŸŽ‰

Some of these are more than 6 weeks. Progress is progress, no matter how long it takes! Small changes add up over time!

It is not fast! ๐ŸŒThere is no easy button! ๐Ÿ›Ž These ladies are simply making small, daily, consistent, changes that are sustainable for long term health benefits! Consistency, not perfection! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Some things just aren't captured in pictures. ๐Ÿ“ธ We set non-scale goals and celebrate those victories as well! ๐ŸŽ‰ We love functional fitness for longevity of life! ๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฅฐ
