“Stuttgart Sunrise.” 2025. This is (Emily’s) latest commissioned duck call, depicting mallards in a brilliant full-plumage display, their wings slicing through the silence of an early Arkansas flooded-timber morning. The insert features the iconic “Welcome to Stuttgart” sign.

Now it’s finally ready to be loaded onto Santa’s sleigh just in time! I poured a lot of time, trips to the shop and care into this one and I’m grateful how she came to life. I have one great teacher and wonderful, patient customers.

As a note, I apologize but my books will need to be closed for some time as I prepare and build inventory for our planned upcoming duck call show in 2026. Impressive snow totals the last few days in the Ohio Valley and parts of the Deep South! Central Arkansas and north Texas locally had jackpots over 10" of snow! I do not think this will be the last chance for the month either...

My wildlife artworks of 2024. Ready to refresh my studio, get down to a handful of commissions that a few of you are patiently waiting for (Thank you!), and building fresh inventory for the year! I stepped outside of my comfort zone on a few of these and I can't wait to see what 2025 brings.
