Looking for some volunteers for aid station 3.5 at Mohaven Saturday for the MTB 100 bike race! We are down a captain 😔 and he was equivalent of about 4 volunteers. If you love volunteering and aren't busy Saturday anywhere between 9-4 please dm me and let me know if you can help.

While I was running this morning with friends there were two kids walking on the trail who were lost. There were bikers that saw them as well and were concerned....if you are seeing this...they are safe.
We are blessed with awesome trails, but not to be mistaken for trails suitable for children to be left alone to wander on. There are miles and miles of hiking/biking trails that easy to get lost or turned around on, even for an adult. Please don't assume your young children will be fine unsupervised. Thank you for listening...for the kind bikers who were concerned, thank you for caring.

Mohican State Park trail is now open!! Don't forget to show your love, and earn some extra Trail Karma.

Reminder, ride through any soft, muddy spots, NOT around. Riding around widens the trail and causes additional damage and maintenance problems. Enjoy!!

The NUE Series is excited to announce that the Mohican MTB100 is ON as scheduled for May 30. Mohican will employ a mitigation and safety plan that has been submitted to the chief of ODNR and the local health department. The plan includes the use of medical emergency volunteers. There will be drive through packet pickup at Mohican Adventures and social distancing practiced at all aid stations. Racers will be seeded based on the last 2-3 years of finish times and depart in small groups of 3-6 every 1-2 minutes with the start and finish both at Mohican Adventures. If our anticipated park permit is not received by early next week, the race will employ a contingency route to avoid park trails, similar to the plan we would employ in case of wet trail conditions. Registration is still open and Team Mohican volunteers are excited to see all NUE racers next weekend. 🏁
