I'm Kylie Hodges - a business coach who helps ambitious, high-achiever entrepreneurs overcome their no-mercy, perfectionist standards to get their business on a profitable track to six-figures and beyond. Working with me, clients learn the skills to manage their businesses and their neurodiverse brains so they can overcome the harsh self-judgment that creates paralyzing, under-earning behaviors and finally get on with making the kind of money and impact that makes them yell "HELL YEAH"!

To be FRANK, Hotdoggers are the best people out there.

I had the privilege of becoming an Oscar Mayer Hotdogger as my first job out of college, and it was easily the most impactful time of my life and career.

Traveling the nation in a 27-foot-long Wienermobile, closing the NY Stock Exchange, chatting with Sara Haines on the TODAY show... those are all the shiny highlights that live on my resume.

But the personal highlights to me? The people. And Ed Roland was the guy who hand picked every class.

It takes a special person to be the boss, mentor, leader, and sometimes surrogate parent to an ever-changing group of 20-somethings who dedicate a whole year of their lives to enthusiastically speaking to anyone and everyone about hot dogs.

Only Ed understood what special mix of intangible qualities are needed in each person to make up a Hotdogger class.

He taught us so many phrases etched in my brain forever, like...

"Reputations are easy to get and hard to get rid of"

"It's impossible to sneak into town with a 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels." LOL

"Manage expectations and succeed" (I even have a t-shirt with this one!)

Over 100 Hotdoggers gathered together in Madison, WI this last weekend to thank Ed for his service as he officially retires from 27 years with Oscar Mayer.

I can't thank Ed enough for giving me the job of the lifetime, introducing me to colleagues that have become dear friends, and shaping me into who I am today.

FRANKS A BUNCH, ED!

🎀I didn't play with Barbie dolls much as a girl, but I'm obsessed with this movie. Why? Because the best thing to come out of the Barbie movie is the COMMUNITY!

💖Notice how the Barbie movie marketing created a major sense of CONNECTION: from strangers complimenting each others pink outfits going in and out of the movie theater, to posting gleeful photos with friends in the Barbie box.

💕The messaging and marketing of this film created a strong sense of connection with so many people and honestly, I am totally happy to jump on the Barbie bandwagon to experience some of that collective joy.

👉Entrepreneurs & Small Biz Owners:

Take notes from the
1. community and
2. connection
the Barbie movie created and ask yourself:

How can YOU use your marketing to…
💪strengthen your community and
🤗cultivate a stronger sense of connection?

Mother’s Day always feels a bit lonely for a kid who has lived 2,000+ miles away from her mom for over a decade. It’s hard to sum up all the things I love and appreciate about my mom because I can’t really imagine what my life would be like without her.

Before she had kids, my mom made her own wedding dress and was a small business owner of a bridal store. I remember thinking that was so cool (I still do). As a kid I imagined taking after her and sewing all my clothes, but instead I took after the entrepreneurship part. Every year I get older I discover a part of myself that I got from her. It was a very brave thing to open a bridal store in a small town in your 20’s — I’d like to think I got some of that bravery too.

I love you, I appreciate you, and I miss you Mom. 💐

(And I love and appreciate my suegra Gloria, too💐)

You probably started your business because you value community, creating connections, and know your expertise can impact a lot of people.

As a fellow people-person, I care deeply about entrepreneurs like you, and want to see you succeed!

But, if the money isn't coming in like you thought it would, then you're likely not making much of a ripple effect change.

Let's change that: grab your calendar and pencil this in⤵️

📆Tue - 3/21 - 10am PT/1pm ET - on Zoom

👉The Profitable Community - a free masterclass for ambitious, people-focused entrepreneurs who want to grow their business without going broke in the process.

Come meet fellow entrepreneurs that could turn into potential clients or collaborators while you get live support from a business coach, too!

RSVP at the link in my bio ofc

Loving yourself is a lot easier said than done.

It recently dawned on me that the way I talk to myself is really fu**ed up.

So, I'm currently on a journey of repairing my relationship with 16 year-old Kylie as my highest-priority WORK project.

Strengthening the CONNECTION to self is one of the most profitable things any entrepreneur can do for the CEO of our business (that's you!)

❤️That's right, self-love has a very high ROI.

Think about how my own examples below apply to your relationship to self:

- the impossibly high expectations I hold for myself (and throwing around the word "failure", or "loser") are 16 year-old Kylie's way of coping with a heavy weight of SHAME she carries around

- inner teenage Kylie defaults to quitting before completing because she believes the story that she is bad, she isn't enough, she'll never get what she wants because she's not worthy of it

- confusion on what to do next or forgetfulness on important deadlines are a subconscious effort from 16 year-old Kylie to keep myself safe from (potentially scary) change.

- talking myself out of reaching out to a colleague for a partnership because "I'm not good enough" -- teenage Kylie's low belief in self

So what does 16 year-old Kylie need? She needs a hug, to be told she is smart and capable and safe, that she is NOT bad or stupid.

How am I doing this?

First step: re-writing my beliefs by using my own love language (Words of Affirmation!)

I'm not new to the self-care, self-love world, and yet, here I am with living proof that you *cannot* succeed in business without prioritizing healing the relationship with yourself.

👉 And I'm not alone, we all do this as entrepreneurs. Rewriting the way we speak to and show up for ourselves is one of many things my clients do in my program the VIP Inner Circle.

❤️ It's not revolutionary today to say "love yourself!" but it IS revolutionary to ACT on loving yourself.

Start the revolutionary work today and join me in the VIP Inner Circle❤️
