Montenegro Manufacturing is a young bicycle composites company with a passion for great products of the best quality possible. With over 500 Carbon Fiber frames repaired in the last year, Hernan Montenegro earned the trust and loyalty from Bike shops, racers and avid cyclist all over the country. It's his expertise, close attention to detail and passion to keep his reputation strong that drives hi

Before starting Montenegro Manufacturing, Hernan discovered his trade while working under a local custom bicycle company, where he quickly moved up from assistant to head Composites Technician and Frame Builder, with main focus and expertise in Carbon Fiber Bicycle Frame repair. He has worked on all types of repairs: from small top tube cracks to bicycles broken in half, to repairs that other Carbon repair services have worked on and failed. He learned the mistakes that bicycle companies were making and where carbon fiber repair services were doing a poor job. Hernan made it up to him to change this; to make the product better and stronger than before; to allow the customer to depend on their bicycle again and enjoy it to the fullest. He’s constantly working on finding ways to make his products and services better by acquiring the best raw materials available and educating himself in the latest technologies in both the bicycle and composites world. Every job is meticulously performed by Hernan’s hands with sophistication and passion, to bring you the most reliable Carbon Fiber Bicycle Repair.

I drank the Cool Aid and I liked it. 32” wheels are here to stay. My first ride on it was a 50 mile ride. Long enough to make me want to keep riding it in the future. I think this bike will replace my old rigid 29er/Gravel bike. I’ll make a proper post about it soon. This is also the first Steel MMFG. More soon.
