Have you ever heard the phrase “death doula” and thought:
Wait…what does an end-of-life doula actually do?
You’re not the only one. Most people don’t learn about this work until they’re already in the thick of it...juggling appointments, paperwork, family dynamics, and heartbreak with no real space to process what’s happening.

I just wrote a new piece on Substack that answers the question I get asked the most:

What is a death / end-of-life doula?

What does support actually look like when someone is dying or grieving?
