Omar Wysong is an artist and actor who draws inspiration from nature, metal, found objects, present and past as well as social and environmental issues to create sculpture. . As a professional skater trained in the performing arts Omar has lived all across the US and Mexico gaining inspiration for his unexpected turn into sculpture. He has succesfully worked as an artist through other outlets crea

ting metal agaves, saguaro cactus, palmtrees and other varities of plant and animal sculptures. Utilizing obstacles and materials around him to create pieces both of the natural world and society from present and past in this Saatchi Gallery collection he will sometimes blend the realms in an abstract style he likes to call Free Dada or New Dada.
