I was watching a documentary on gut health and saw three different people have three totally different reactions to eating the same apple ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ˜ณ
That moment really hit home.

Because it proves this:

Not many things annoy me, but Iโ€™ve always disliked going to a doctor and feeling like โ€œpatient #10.โ€ I understood they were seeing a lot of peopleโ€”but I also understood I only have one me. ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿพโ€โš•๏ธโœ‹๐Ÿพ

That feeling has stuck with me throughout my entire career. Iโ€™ve always been intentional about making sure the level of attentiveness I give others is the same level Iโ€™d want for myself. ๐ŸŽงโœจ

I truly believe Iโ€™m really, really good at what I do because I spend more time listening than talking. Iโ€™ll never force-feed information to anyoneโ€”EVER!. What good is the latest meta-analysis or perfect protein recommendation if it doesnโ€™t fit your lifestyle or ends up stressing you out? ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ญ

My job is to find the workaround that makes the adjustment feel natural and doable for you. And thatโ€™s something Iโ€™ll always put an insane amount of effort into. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Finding the right perspective about fitness that is most in alignment with you, can be the most impactful thing you ever do.

Just wrapped a session and realized I told my client this story before ๐Ÿ˜‚ but Iโ€™m glad it hit home for her.

A few years back, my favorite cousin pulled up on me from across the country ๐Ÿ’›. I had a 45-min workout planned after work, but instead of canceling it, I told her, โ€œLook, Iโ€™m hopping on this treadmill for 10 minutes while we talk.โ€ And I did. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฌ

Point is: donโ€™t make your routine so strict that if life pops up, you throw the whole thing away. Life always gonna be life. Those little 10โ€“15 min workouts add up. And if you can hit 3โ€“4 short sessions a week? Trust me, thatโ€™s way better than giving up every time something comes up.
