Savasana. Arguably the most important pose in a ‘yogasana’ practice (& life), and yet, arguably the hardest 😳 Why? Our brains are constantly telling us there’s more to do, more to give our attention to, more to figure out, to take care of, etc. Moreover, the challenge lies, not only in the resting part, but, more specifically, in the staying present part. There is a constant battle for our attention 👀

“You can’t breathe a breath for yesterday and you can’t breathe a breath for tomorrow. Your breath is the one thing that can connect you back to your present moment.” I was in yoga class the other day where the teacher said this, and I LOVEDDD IT ♥️ It got me thinking...

“Blossom where you are planted.” This has been a theme in my life that I strive to consistently pursue 🌻 However, I have been met with the reality, especially as of late, that I have been falling short of this, epicallyyy.

I want to actively hold space for what is directly in front of me. Not worrying about tomorrow’s plans, while also trying to give my attention to something or someone else 🌾

This year has represented a lot for me personally thus far. However, despite the changes and the unknowns, I do not want to miss the present due to being more concerned about the future ✨ Not trying to be two places at once, but rather to push further into what is directly in front of me. Wherever I am, being all there, including when I allow time for rest 🐚 In the end, we cannot affect change if we are not present where we stand (or lie 🙃)

Matthew 6:34-"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow.”
