👋🏼 it’s me, Alyssa

Welcome all! Let’s learn some more about each other, shall we? Ill go first:

▪️ I’ve been in the fitness and wellness space my whole life, growing up as a competitive dancer and practicing Pilates since the age of 13. I’ve always been passionate about the body + how it moves, + after a career-threatening hip injury, my rehab through Pilates directed me onto a new path that was my true calling.

▪️ A large focus of my practice is prenatal + postpartum health. I’ve studied this work for years with top Pilates experts + the leading women’s and pelvic health doctor in Los Angeles (❤️ ) It’s a space with valuable information that isn’t nearly as available + approachable as it should be, and there are so many women that could greatly benefit from the knowledge and guidance here. I am passionate about bringing that to you all + educating in an accessible and welcoming way.

▪️ I’m a mom + business owner that is constantly searching for the work/life balance. While searching 🔦 (and the search is ongoing) one thing I can say for certain is if you don’t show up for yourself everyday, you can’t show up for everyone else. The best version of you is the best version for your family, and they will thank you for it 🙏🏼

▪️ Along with my work and dedication to women’s health and Pilates, I am also a Certified Holistic Nutritionist with further education in using food as medicine + nutrition for athletes. I am a huge foodie + have always loved cooking and creating healthier, flavorful recipes for myself, family, and clients. This offering has deepened my own knowledge and understanding of overall wellness and nutrition, and I love the ability to approach my clients from a holistic place.

▪️ My clientele ranges from moms to U.S. Olympians to those rehabbing injuries to celebrities and everyone in between. Meaning Pilates is for EVERY. BODY. I will shout it from the rooftops + never stop passionately spreading the word. It changed my life + I love sharing my love for it’s work with you all

⚠️ STOP AND SAVE ⚠️

A client gave me a recipe for paleo banana muffins that was out of this world. I tweaked the recipe and made some changes that took it to the next level. Grain free, dairy free (optional) sugar free deliciousness. A great snack for the family. A great way to refuel on the go. Check out my swap options below to change things up.

3 bananas, mashed
1/2 cup almond butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup brown butter
1 tbs. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
Dark chocolate chunks (optional)
Sea salt (optional)

Mash bananas and wet ingredients, then mix in the dry. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes and prepare for these to be gone within 12 hours.

OPTIONS:
• Peanut butter instead of almond butter
• Olive oil instead of butter
• Coconut flour instead of almond flour
• Regular butter instead of brown butter
• Add nuts or dried fruit of choice
• Caramel chips instead of dark chocolate

The options are endless so you can continue making this over and over this holiday season. Stash them in the fridge for a few days or freeze them for an easy grab ‘n go. Let me know what you think!

Sometimes working out for me just means moving. Between running my own business, seeing clients, being a mama and wife, and managing all of the projects we have going on, I value just a few moments of movement each day.

Movement to honor the commitment I made to myself to not apologize for making time for myself a priority. Running on a full(er) tank allows me to be a better, mother, teacher, business owner, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. If I show up for myself, I can show up for everyone else in the fullest capacity 🤍

One Year //

And just like that.. I blinked and you’re one. You have given me hands down, the most memorable, meaningful, and special year of my life. I don’t think there are enough words to describe how you’ve changed us, how grateful we are for you, and just how much we love you, Landon.

You have made me a mama. A better wife. A better friend. A fuller, more complete person. You’re funny, curious, sweet, playful, gentle, smart, snuggly, determined, and brave. Watching you grow, learn, laugh, and smile is the purest joy I’ve ever known.

My sweet boy, happy birthday to you. Thank you for changing my life and choosing me to be your mama. We love you more than words ♥️🎈

Pilates in Paradise //

Being on vacation still means finding time to move. I got to lead my sissy and all of our girls today in a Pilates sesh under a palapa in paradise (say that 3x fast). It kicked off our day, brought us together, helped us detox 😜 and gave us a good sweat. Grateful to do what I love and share my passion with people I love even more. The view isn’t so bad either 😍

Happy first Father’s Day ! Seeing you become a daddy has been one of the greatest gifts, and watching how much you love Landon makes my heart melt. We are so lucky to have you, your love, your support, and your dedication to our family. We love you so much!

And Happy Father’s Day to the OG greatest dad and role model of a father and husband a girl court ever ask for. I’m so lucky to have you, and seeing you become the best Poppy to Landon is something so incredibly special. We love you so much.
