A grassroots company that produces specialized training equipment for Filipino Martial Artists. We rarely get anything at wholesale price.

Bunal, pronounced boo-naal, is a Cebuano (Filipino dialect) term which means strike, hit, attack, and sometimes used to name the Filipino martial arts itself. This grassroots company in the United States was initially founded to develop and research ways of improving training in the Filipino martial arts by developing better training implements such as padded sticks and padded blades. All of our p

roducts are hand made and the materials are bought here in the United States from local stores. Because of this we cannot give too much breaks on pricing, but even so our prices are fair and we aim to keep them as low as possible. The equipment we offer have all been tested by prominent Filipino Martial Arts instructors in the United States... Our instructor lineup for the San Diego Defang Cancer Community Gathering on Sunday August 9th, 2026 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Eskrima Sessions

1:00pm San Miguel with Filemon Cañete represented by Albert Mendoza

2:00pm Inayan with Mike Inay represented by Norman Malonzo

3:00pm Kalis Ilustrisimo with Antonio Ilustrisimo represented by Jeff Cruz

Each session will run between 20 to 30 minutes. In between instructors, you can test out the new techniques you learned through community sparring, test your cutting skills, and compete in a knife sparring contest sponsored by Bunal Brand. Food will be provided for all who register BEFORE the date of the event.

On Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 11am to 4pm in San Diego, California, Armas Filomeno and Bunal Brand, alongside fellow sponsors continue the fight, bringing the community together through instruction, education, friendly competition, and brotherhood in the Filipino martial arts.
