Member Spotlight | The Pisca family
The Pisca family runs on tacos, tofu, teamwork, and a healthy dose of competition.
Nick — A Bay Area native, PhD, works in public health at the L.A County Department of Public Health — and carves out time to coach baseball, have family chess games, ride his gravel bike, and serve Magnolia’s all-time favorite tacos.
Kim, Denver-born and professor at Cal State LA, traded gymnastic meets and lacrosse fields for boxing gloves. She’s currently learning Spanish, living her best vegetarian life, and making sure Paloma (their miniature poodle) gets the love she deserves.
Oliver (11) splits his time between baseball, judo, and plotting his next chess victory. If he’s not on the field or mat, he’s probably thinking about orange tofu from Eagle Rock Green Dragon.
Magnolia (8) flips between gymnastics and boxing like a pro — fueled primarily by Dad’s tacos. Catch her in the kids boxing class or kids bootcamp!
Life in the Pisca house is active, academic, competitive, and delicious.
