Tre Harris could be one of the Chargers’ biggest breakout candidates in 2026.
The former second-round pick had a quiet rookie season with 30 receptions, 324 yards and one touchdown, but the belief inside the building is growing fast.
Jim Harbaugh said Harris has clearly been one of the Chargers’ top three receivers during offseason work, alongside Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey.
Now Sports Illustrated’s Connor Orr is predicting a major Year 2 leap.
Orr believes Harris could see his targets, catches, yards and touchdowns more than double in Mike McDaniel’s offense, where his size, explosiveness and versatility could make him a perfect fit with Justin Herbert.
Harris is expected to play a bigger role in 2026, especially as the Chargers continue shaping their WR room.
The rookie season was quiet.
The second season could be different.
