Grace Ballet Los Angeles Royal Academy of Dance Registered Ballet School in West Los Angeles Geraldine is an ongoing co-author for WikiHow on Classical Ballet Technique.

Geraldine Grace Johns studied with the Royal Academy of Dance in London and since taught in London, Japan, New Zealand, New York and Canada. She coaches as a faculty member for the USA & Canadian RAD she has over 25 years teaching experience.

Summer Ballet Camp is almost here.

Join us June 8 to June 12 for a beautiful week of ballet, creativity, choreography, and summer fun at Grace Ballet Los Angeles.

Designed for dancers ages 8 and up, our camp includes daily ballet class, arts and crafts, choreography, and a glimpse into other dance styles, all in a supportive and inspiring studio environment.

Dates: June 8 to June 12
Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

🍰 BAKE SALE! Coffee! Lemonade! This Saturday our Grade 5 students are hosting a bake sale at the studio.

Stop by for brownies, chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispie treats, coffee, tea, and lemonade, and support our senior girls on their way to a workshop in Italy.

Five dancers have received scholarships, which we are so grateful for, but there are still travel costs to cover. Every purchase helps.

Funds go toward travel and accommodation for the students and chaperones, Miss Geraldine and Miss Lynne.

We are honoured that several of our dancers have been awarded scholarships to train in southern Italy this summer, attending a two week international intensive with Pollino Danza Festival.

To support their journey, our dancers will be hosting a bake, cake and lemonade stand on Saturday, April 18th from 9:30am onwards

So proud of these courageous humans in my Absolute Beginners Adult Ballet class.

Walking into a ballet studio for the first time as an adult takes courage. Ballet has long been seen as something you must start as a child, but that belief is quietly being rewritten, one class at a time.

These students show up after long workdays, with open minds and brave hearts. They allow themselves to be beginners. They allow themselves to learn, to wobble, to laugh, to grow. That is where real artistry begins.

Ballet does not belong only to the young. It belongs to anyone who feels called to it.

As their teacher, it is an honour to witness them break boundaries, discover strength they did not know they had, and experience the joy of movement without expectation or limitation.

This is what ballet truly is. For every body. For every age. For everyone.

An incredible day!! Congratulations to my dancers and our wonderful parent helpers for getting through a full costume fitting, photos, a dress rehearsal, and three shows yesterday. It was truly magical to see my dancers onstage with a touring professional company for the second year in a row with .
