Not glamorous. Just real.
Checking IVs, making sure patients are okay, doing the quiet work that matters šŸ’™
Proud to do this every day.

People see the scrubs and think it’s just a job. Nah. It’s suctioning, charting, calming nervous patients, handing the dentist the right tool before they even ask, and still remembering someone’s kid’s name.

Dental assisting = being the right hand, the backup brain, and the person who makes sure everything runs smooth when the chair time gets crazy.

Long hours, steady hands, lots of coffee, and heart to match. I’m not just ā€˜assisting’... I’m problem-solving, educating, and making people less scared of the dentist, one appointment at a time.

Double-checking the drip rate, scanning the med, logging it in the EHR... just another moment in the day āœŒļø

Long shifts, tired feet, but still showing up for every patient. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about the scrubs... it’s about the care.

Me vs the EHR. Again. For the 47th time today šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

Charting, double-checking, charting again. Because if it ain’t documented, it didn’t happen. Period.

20% taking care of patients, 80% clicking and praying the system doesn’t freeze.

Cold coffee, sore feet, long shift... but every dose and every note still has to be 100%.

Some days are exhausting. Some days are worth it. Today’s one of those.

Showing up, doing it right, doing it again šŸ’™

Yo, this X-ray room is my classroom šŸ“ø

The doc’s pointing at the screen like ā€˜check that shadow, kid’. I’m over here trying to nail the settings so the image comes out crystal clear. It ain’t just snapping a pic, it’s making sure the diagnosis is spot on. One wrong angle = patient has to redo the whole thing. We can’t afford that.

Real talk: being a rad tech is 10% operating the machine, 90% paying attention to every detail the doc throws at you. Long shifts, coffee’s gone cold, but the learning curve keeps you sharp.

When the final image pops up perfect and the doc says ā€˜nice work, that’s the one’, it feels like a win. That’s why I grind every day – to get those perfect shots and help the docs save lives.
Grateful for mentors who teach you the tricks of the trade šŸ’™

Some days it feels like I’m just typing names into a screen.
But then I remember… behind every chart, every vitals check, every call bell is a real person. Someone’s whole world.
I miss birthdays, I miss sleep, I miss having time to just breathe. But I don’t miss showing up for them.
This job breaks you and rebuilds you in the same shift. And I’d still choose it, even on the hard days šŸ’™

12-hour shift check: scrubs on, stethoscope around my neck, coffee in one hand, peace sign with the other āœŒļø
This is what "I’m fine" looks like in healthcare. Sweaty scrubs, 3rd cup of coffee, and still trying to keep the smile real.
Between charting, codes, and "I need you in room 4 ASAP", this 5-minute break with my coffee is basically my therapy session šŸ˜‚
We run on caffeine, teamwork, and way too much empathy. If you see me like this in the break room, don’t worry… I’m recharging.
To every nurse/RT/MA out there: we see you, we are you. Hang in there šŸ’™

One thing people don’t really see behind the scenes is how much time goes into checking and organizing everything before patients even walk into the room. From medication samples to lab supplies, every little detail matters more than people think. We’re constantly double-checking labels, making sure everything’s stocked, and keeping things running smoothly so the day doesn’t turn into complete chaos later. It might look simple, but trust me… healthcare runs on teamwork and a whole lot of organization.

Honestly, some of my favorite moments at work are the quiet ones like this. No alarms going off, no rushing down the hallway, just focusing, staying organized, and getting ready for whatever the shift throws at us next. And yes, there’s always that one coworker standing nearby acting like they’re helping while mostly just supervising šŸ˜‚šŸ’™
