I walked away from 214,000 followers.
Not because I got banned.
Not because the algorithm killed my reach.
I made the decision.
I had built that account in 18 months. Fast growth. Real numbers. A lot of energy, money, and time poured into every post.
But somewhere in the middle — I changed.
I stopped wanting to be known for one thing.
I started working with coaches and practitioners.
And I realized the audience I had built… wasn’t built for where I was going.
A wrong-fit audience at 214k is not an asset.
It’s a ceiling with a big number on it.
So I left it.
Started from zero.
Built something aligned with who I had actually become.
Most people would have stayed and tried to pivot slowly.
I’ve learned that slow pivots on a wrong foundation just delay the inevitable.
Identity shifts require real decisions.
Not adjustments.
