Machatz is a fusion of various martial arts, a system that has been developed over twenty-five years, to bring you the most effective training possible. Our system combines the best of Kung Fu, Karate, Aikido, Judo, Wu Shu arts (such as Tai Chi, Wing Chun and Pa Kua), Russian and Israeli defense systems, and Brazilian and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Machatz teaches sound principles of self defense. No fan
cy moves that look impressive, but turn out to be useless in a real confrontation. We also teach you to control your power, avoiding the potential injuries that are so common at many competitive martial arts schools. It doesn't matter how big or how small you are, how strong or weak, male or female, child or adult. We work with each student individually, helping you to build on your strengths, improve upon your weaknesses, and fill the defensive gaps in your body and mind. We welcome all students, and encourage those with special needs. If you have been bullied, abused, or traumatized, Machatz training can help you to regain confidence and feel safe again. If you have partial use of your limbs, Machatz training can teach you to use YOUR abilities to defend yourself, in any situation. Machatz teaches the full and best use of resources available, without rules to inhibit the body and mind, and without competition. As a defensive art, you will learn to END THE FIGHT as soon as possible. As a training program, you will develop strength and stamina, using a method that is SAFE AND EFFECTIVE for anyone.
