For me, yoga practice offers a chance to pause.
Whether it’s movement, meditation, breathwork or chanting mantras.
It’s a moment to turn inward and nurture the loving awareness I’ve committed to cultivating.
It’s a way to slow down the ping pong game of life and reaction, so I can contemplate and align myself and self expression with my core values.
When I’m living from that place, life feels more peaceful. I feel more understanding, patient and compassionate.
The physical benefits are undeniable, but the thing that’s always kept me coming back is something that you can’t see. It’s the feeling. It’s that peace.
