UCLA ACA Lion Dance is a student-run team founded in 2001 through th
e Association of Chinese Americans at the University of California, Los Angeles. Originally formed as an aspect for ACA's culture night (CACN), the continued growth of the team has allowed us to entertain and perform at many locales and celebrations in the Los Angeles area. Many thanks to Anwer, Justin, and our LD families in SF for all their hard work, dedication, and support of the growth of team. It makes us very excited and anxious to see what is in store for the coming years. We hope that you can be a part of it. Lion dance is always searching for fresh new faces to join our family. There is absolutely no prior experience necessary! We regularly look for fun new places and people to perform for. We have had experience performing at festivals, grand openings, birthday celebrations, parties, weddings, and university events.
