Natella Devitskaya was born in Yerevan, Armenia where she started her dance career at age two. She first started going to International dancing, a studio called Hrashk meaning “miracle” where most talented children attended. She always got main roles and she was the youngest student at dance. She attended the dance studio for three years. When she was four, she first went to Sophi
e Devoyan dance school. Then when she was 4 and a half, she went to latin american and ballroom dancing to a studio called Castanet whose teacher was Mariana Mamyan. She started competing when she was five and on her very first competition she received third place while competing with dancers who had danced 3 years and over. There, she instantly fell in love with dancing and knew that this is what she’s going to do for the rest of her life. When Natella realized that staying in Armenia wouldn’t boost her career, she moved to America with her family with the help of her loving grandma who did everything to make her dreams come true. She learned more then she ever could, all the techniques and she was free to express her feelings about dance by dancing. She started to dance with Kiril Kulish and had success with all their competitions, but all this came from hard work and effort. She never lost hope and thanks to all this she became three times American Champion and also a World Champion. When Natella and her partner,Kiril, went to Florida to compete, they received a scholarship called “luca leoni” to go to Italy and get lessons from teachers. She represented America in Blackpool festival competition. She also got an award for 10 best sportsmen for 4 times. Another award she got was Armenian Golden Star Awards. She was also invited to perform in the Oscar’s Party. She won LAUSD high school talent show for dancing. She also got many awards and medals for competing. She has been invited to Japan for 3 times. Natella has appeared in many dance video clips of her dancing both in Armenia and here in the USA. She did many commercials as well and performed in music videos.
