Come see what AIKIDO is all about! Our dojo is open Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10:30 am - 1pm for visitors to observe our classes for children and adults. Students gain confidence, focus, coordination and self-defense skills. Our Children’s Aikido Program provides high-quality martial arts instruction in a fun, supportive, and non-competitive environment. Along the way, children learn peaceful conflict resolution and self-discipline. We also offer swordsmanship and traditional weapons training for adults and juniors.

We’re having a Dojo Bake Sale on Saturday May 2! 🍪🧁🍰🥖

To help raise funds for improvements to our dojo, this event is spearheaded by our children’s program. We will have a range of baked goods including vegan and gluten-free options, all contributed by our dojo members.

With over 40 years of teaching experience, Aikido Cultural Institute offers classes for adults and children. Each class is designed to support each student’s self defense training, physical conditioning, and personal development for mental focus and confidence.

At Aikido Cultural Institute, our mission is to build better people through martial arts. As part of the Northeast Los Angeles community, we welcome all individuals and families seeking to learn traditional Japanese martial arts – aikido, iaido, and weapons training.

We are located at 5058 Eagle Rock Boulevard, close to the intersection with Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock. The dojo is open seven days a week.
