USA Triathlon will hold a first-of-its-kind race directors meeting at the TEAMS Conference & Expo, for a workshop on topics relevant to organizers of triathlon events, including expanding event portfolios, building relationships with destination partners and understanding available financial incentives. The meeting will take place at TEAMS '26, which will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, October 26–29.
“This partnership gives our race directors a seat at the table they've never had before," said Victoria Brumfield, CEO of USA Triathlon. “Triathlon events are a major economic driver for host communities across the country, and this workshop will give our organizers practical tools — from building destination partnerships to understanding financing options — to grow their events and strengthen the sport at every level.”
