/The easiest, healthiest eating strategy for travelers 🥦✈️/
When you’re on a holiday or you live on the road or maybe just a simple human who hates restrictions, just follow my lead.
Even though I became a fitness trainer, I could not once follow any diet.
My mind rebelled against me.
“Who are you to tell me what to eat?” - my mind yelled.
And I got so angry with each diet, I ate that cake or chips or something anyway even if I normally wouldn’t.
But I still needed some strategy because ever since I can remember my stomach always hurt.
When I was tired, when I was stressed, when I ate something that was okay yesterday but now it wasn’t.
I hated my own body like it was always against me.
And then one day, someone - who I looked up to - told me the secret.
Eat for 8 hours and fast for 16.
That was it.
The only rule.
I found out only a few weeks later that this strategy is called intermittent fasting.
I gave it a try and it was a lot harder first than I thought.
But my mentor told me to follow this one rule so I did.
Nothing happened for 3 weeks.
But than...
✅ My stomach started to hurt less.
✅ I was much more focused and productive.
✅ And my body fat started to decrease.
✅ After a few months I finally felt good in my body and didn’t think of my stomach as an enemy anymore.
--------------------------
Because of my problematic stomach, I couldn’t always enjoy traveling.
You know how it is on the road.
You eat unregularly, you’re trying out new meals but somehow you’re always hungry.
It’s expensive, you feel sick constantly and there’s no time to heal, so you don’t sleep that well and can’t really have fun exploring new cultures.
Intermittent fasting is so much more easier, healthier and comfortable.
But if you want to try it out, I have 2 suggestions:
❤️ 1.) First consult with your doctor.
❤️ 2.) Wait for my next post, because I made an ebook about intermittent fasting and it will help you along your journey.
