Look around, observe what is working and be reactive. Build connections to influence and encourage reactions from your fans and followers.

How many of these are you utilising? Which ones are giving you the best results? 😎👏

CROSS-PROMOTING is such a big topic (and maybe I’ll do a separate post sometime!) but if done properly it can be SO rewarding!

Here’s a lil tip for each one:
PINTEREST - great to drive traffic to your posts - use seo friendly words
SHORTS - title is so important - make it eye catching!
TIKTOK - similar algorithm to reels… get reposting!
TRILLER - a more global audience - great to reach different audiences!
SNAPCHAT - skits, pranks and ‘vine’ type content do best here!
FACEBOOK - post your content so that it looks native to Facebook - this will get more shares
TWITTER - aim for retweets. Include a CTA!

I see SO MUCH information out there about ‘batching’ content. For businesses I say YES (it can be such a gamechanger) but not for influencers!

Captions need to be spontaneous, in the moment and real. Of course we have to batch content so it doesn’t take over our life but always try to save yourself a little time to write the caption just before you post!

Benefits :
• ALLOWS you to be reactive - maybe something happened in your last post and you want to talk about it
• ENCOURAGES you to be topical - look out for news, trends or popular topics and use them… these are great ways of boosting engagement and building community
• SHOWS that you are real - captions should be a conversation… gone are the days of inspirational quotes… make connections with your followers!

Each of these 6 steps are key to the long term success of any influencer! Don’t rush or skip any, the results are worth it!

Most of all, KEEP GOING!! 👊 don’t be disheartened when you get a ‘no’ at first… many of my clients are now working with brands they once only dreamed of working with!!
