Hey Friends,

I want to share a personal story with you. Years ago, I had my eye on a job that I knew I was perfect for. I had all the skills, the experience, and the drive. So, I sent in my resume thinking I was a shoo-in for the role.

But guess what? I didn’t even get an interview.

Looking back, I can see exactly what went wrong: my resume didn’t focus on what mattered. It was filled with all the responsibilities I had, but none of the results. I wasn’t showing how I could solve the company’s problem, and I definitely wasn’t communicating the measurable impact I’d had in my previous roles.

That was a wake-up call.

I restructured my entire resume. Instead of just listing what I did, I focused on how I solved problems and delivered measurable results. For example, I went from saying, “Managed a team” to “Led a team that increased revenue by 15% in 6 months.” Suddenly, I was speaking the language hiring managers actually wanted to hear.
