Build your Body Hi! I have worked one on one with clients and taught group classes with up to 50+ people. At Build and Burn, your goal becomes my goal!

My name is Erika Godwin and in my 6+ years working in the fitness industry, I have worked in many gyms – from big box chains to smaller boutique studios. And in all that time, there has been one constant:
I love training. I love helping people reach their fitness goals – no goal is too small. You have a wide variety of training options available to help you reach that goal – group training, privat

e training, virtual training, even small group training with you and a few of your friends. Build and Burn is for everyone! Maybe you’re just starting your fitness journey or maybe you’re someone who’s been on your journey for a long time and are looking for that extra push. Whether you need some modifications due to injury/fitness level or you want to take every exercise I throw at you to the next level, I am here for you! I have extensive training in working with ALL body types, fitness levels, injuries, ages, skill levels. Mondays and Wednesdays are strength training days. A new strength program every time! I use a variety of formats (circuit training, tabata, HIIT, etc) and equipment (dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, bodyweight, resistance bands, BOSU, etc.). Fridays are STRONG Nation – a HIIT cardio, strength and abs workout using your own bodyweight that will push you to your absolute limit! Classes are 50 min long and I don’t like to waste your time. You are there to work and I promise, you will work! All you need to bring is your awesome attitude and willingness to work hard to achieve your goal.

Congratulations to our Fitness Bingo winners-Alice and David!

We had SO many people playing Bingo, it was competitive!

In the end Alice DuBois and David Conolly came out on top and won baskets of goodies!

For those of you wondering how I select Bingo winners, I don’t! I put everyone’s entries into a lottery app (the more entries, the higher the chance of winning) and it randomly spits out two names.

Great job to EVERYONE who played and showed up for each other and themselves!

Mat Pilates!

Not sure what it is or if it’s for you? Take a look at our most recent class (sped waaaay up, of course). Pilates is great for core strength, mobility, flexibility and endurance. It helps to improve that mind body connection, correct postural alignment and is a low impact (but tough!) full body strengthening class. We all end the class dripping with sweat and wondering how!

Come strengthen and lengthen with us! Only offered 2 Thursdays a month…

This is Kim! And she hit her 500th class today! 🙌

I have known for many years. Her and her bestie were regulars at and I enjoyed seeing them every (very early) morning. When I opened my own bootcamp, they were so excited, they showed up a week early and wondered where everyone was! 😂

Kim has always been a big supporter of Build and Burn. Her open, friendly and caring personality puts other people at ease instantly. So glad to know you, Kim! 💕
