When we’re young, we think we have all the answers!

At least I felt that way…

💪 I would hit the gym for hours

❌Never indulged in foods I liked 🍔 🍟 🍕

🕰 Knew exactly what I was going to eat at a certain time

For what?

Just to be stressed out if I didn’t maintain this lifestyle 😬

Was this sustainable?

Hell no.

Here’s the truth…

✅ You don’t need to avoid your favorite foods - Going out to eat doesn’t mean you’re getting off track! (DM me if you want my On-The-Go Guide for Eating at Restaurants)

✅ You don’t need to spend hours in the gym - Even 30 minutes a day (of any form of exercise!) will get you closer to your goals.

✅ You CAN eat more, and drop fat - It just needs to be done correctly!

You may think you’re on the right track

But if you’re struggling to love what you see in the mirror, sometimes it takes an outside perspective.

Do you find yourself struggling with getting the results you’re after? 🤔🤷‍♂️

When and I first met, like many, he was struggling with consistency in the gym.

He came to me on a mission to put on lean muscle, but wasn’t sure exactly how to workout to obtain what he wanted.

When’s the last time you had to buy a new pair of pants? 👖

Here’s the truth… 💯

Most people live in the past and the future.

It takes discipline to be present, every single day. ✅

My online client doesn’t go to a gym, he works out at home.

He was able to drop 3 pant sizes and continues to progress.

The reason?

Staying present and consistent with his goals.

He doesn’t harp on how much he used to weigh, nor does he think that he could be doing better.

He takes each day as it comes, and focuses on the goal at hand.

And guess what?

The results speak for themselves!

You’re not alone

If you find yourself saying

“Today is the day that I start my fitness journey”. ✅

But, how many times will you say this to yourself over the years before you no longer believe it?

Will it be 2 times? 3 times? Every January 1st? 🤷‍♂️

We’ve all been there!

What if you could finally say it for your last time?

That is what consistency looks like.

No more excuses. ❌

No more “l’ll start next week”, or “I’m too busy”

Making the promise to yourself, is just as important as keeping it.

☀️ Every morning you have two choices…

When I was younger, I found myself taking the easy route.

😴 I was lazy.

Coasting by just seemed so much more fun to me.

But what was it really doing?

Sure, it was a more simple life.

No worries.

I can do whatever the hell I want.

I learned later that taking the easy route was the reason I felt so s**tty.

When you look yourself in the mirror today, ask yourself

Am I going to…

1️⃣ Continue doing what I did yesterday? Gaining weight & feeling older than I actually am?
Or

2️⃣ Make a small positive change in my routine today, and even though it may be difficult, knowing that the long term results are worth the short term discomfort?

If you decide to take the second path, know that you’ll feel:

✅ Confident - Accomplishing something difficult and new will boost confidence like you’ve never felt.

✅ Strong- A more confident you, means a stronger you, both mentally and physically.

✅ Happy- Say goodbye to anxiety and depression! - By completing small achievable tasks, you’ll reduce your susceptibility to anxiety, because you’re consistently facing challenges (it gets easier, trust me)

📱 Your phone will tell you how lazy you are…

You probably “don’t have time” for the gym right?

I call bulls**t 💩.

Did you know that in order to start making progress all you need to do is carve out 4% of your day?

That’s 60 minutes… ⏰

And you could do it with even less!

But don’t take my word for it. 🧐

Instead, go check the screen time on your phone right now!

If its over an hour, what’s your REAL excuse 🤷‍♂️.

Sorry, not sorry…

But how can we make the time?

Here’s what I did and you can do too:

🗓 Look at your schedule in a realistic way - planning ahead makes things way easier. By adding time in your schedule before hand, you’ll treat it as an appointment you can’t miss.

💪 Find someone to hold you accountable - most progress is made when we don’t feel like doing anything. Find someone who will push you, when you don’t feel like it.

✅ If you need someone to push you to do what’s necessary, you’re not alone.

We deserve a break right? 🤷‍♂️

The weekend warrior life is real

But then reality sets in…

We have to start it all over again on Monday 😬

It’s probably why you’re hating life today, right?

But what if you could flip the script and make Monday the best day of the week?

So many people ask me every Monday, how do you have so much energy today?

The answer is a simple

I give myself a chance to recover! ✅

If you’re spending your weeks working and then hit the bar with the boys everyday of the weekend

Just know this isn’t a break. ❌

Don’t get me wrong…

I’m not saying don’t enjoy yourself! 🍻

Just be realistic with how you feel today 😉

Your obsessions become your possessions!

I want you to think about what it is you want, and it could be anything!

My most recent example for myself was becoming the healthiest I’ve ever been for my birthday, and my goal was achieved!

But how did I do this?

Am I the smartest person in the world when it comes to nutrition, of course not.

Did I have all day and all night to do the research, not at all… I work usually 11-14 hours a day.

Ok so how did i do this?

The answer is simple, I became OBSESSED. That’s right, and this is a healthy version of the term “obsessed”.

Every chance I had I did some research, read some articles, watched multiple videos, even if it was for 10 min in the morning and 15 min while cooking myself dinner, the time adds up! Then I went to the grocery store and applied my new knowledge, got LAZER FOCUSED, made ZERO excuses and wasn’t going to let anything get in my way of achieving my goal.

If you want something, you have to ask yourself.. how bad do I want this?

Do I NEED to have it?

Will I do anything make it happen, or.. do I just “kinda” think I want it. The difference between the two is crucial for you to understand.

If you “kinda” want it, that sounds like a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. 1 being I could care less, and 10 being this is life or death.. and let me be clear.. i was at a 10!

We must go to the extreme sometimes in order to possess what we obsess.. but the key is to OBSESS!

Now take the day, breathe deeply and truly think about what it is that you WANT. Then make a plan, get obsessed, stop playing around, do the things the old you wasn’t willing to do, and GO GET IT!!

And always remember .. this is NOT a game!

“Empty your mind, become formless, shapeless… like water.” - Bruce Lee

With our time in Costa Rica coming to an end, I have a lot of thoughts on my mind 🧐.

This trip was a great example (even for me) that you DON’T need to always go to an actual gym in order to stay active and get in your daily exercise.

Hiking, yoga, biking, swimming .. just to name a few. Don’t be afraid to skip the gym for another form of exercise, especially if you’ve been training hard or very intensely, trust me your body will thank you for it!

Also, this message isn’t just for beginners, Im talking to everyone (especially if you lift heavy weights). I promise you, coming from someone who that those joints, ligaments, and your connective tissue could use a rest!

The part I’ve enjoyed the most was the mental therapy you can get from becoming one with nature. Being outside, seeing the world for what it REALLY is and not from your phone! Hearing all the wild life, but no electronic distractions or humans. We all need peacefulness, and it’s medicine for the brain!

Lastly, there is so much to see no matter where you go on vacation, WALK around! Walking is one of the most underrated forms of cardio, exercise, mediation and movements in general. Not to mention it’s amazing benefits for your blood sugar and glucose absorption post eating. MORE WALKING!! 🚶‍♂️

When I first started training, in-person was the only version of it I could see.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with online clients, but never realized the potential of what this side of training has to offer.

Fast forward to now, it has been a BLAST to be able to help others all over the planet, from the US, to Central America, to Dubai!

During this process of building an online business, I’ve realized my mission isn’t just to help others get in better physical shape and reach their physique goals.. but to actually help you become the person you’ve always wanted to be! This includes both inside and out!

Most people are chasing a physique goal, but rarely understand the difference between having a six pack.. and actually being healthy!

Your six pack will show with consistency and a plan, but what doesn’t show is actually the real accomplishment.

As the new year is quickly approaching, I’ll be taking on 5 new motivated clients who are truly dedicated to not only getting that physical six pack, but a mental one too.
