Unpopular opinion: CELIBACY WORKS!
If you have been following me for awhile or have read my book, you know alllll my business when it comes to me ignoring red flags, giving out the cookies to undeserving men, and lowing my standards to “resolve” my singleness. When I took s*x off the table, I not only was able to separate the men who were just around to have a good time, I was able to make room for my now hubby.
The truth is s*x and lust cloud your vision. It is really difficult to know if you TRULY are in love with a person when the 🍆 is distracting you from what God may be trying to show you. Before Caleb, I had encountered ALOT of counterfeits. Men who called themselves men of God but wasn’t no God in them. Lol
I have stayed in bad situations for way too long because the 🍆 was good but the relationship was 🗑. 😂 I can be real with y’all. When I took s*x off the table I realized that it was the only thing keeping me around. I wanted it to work because I liked the way we connected in the bedroom but there is so much more to love.
Allow God to write your love story. Try it His way. Don’t abandon your celibacy when he blesses you with a man! Let Him know that you are STILL putting him first. He will never fail you! 🤍
