I am super emotional this evening-because there has been so much said about New York over the years.You already know! But tonight I get to enjoy a moment.The Knicks going to the NBA finals.I remember the days of Willis “Captain” Reed RIP,Earl “The Pearl”Monroe,Walt “Clyde”Frazier,Bill Bradley,Dave DeBusschere RIP and I can’t forget Dick Barnett RIP.Thats just one generation.Then Patrick Ewing,Bernard King.Latrelll Sprewell,Alan Houston,Larry Johnson Ray Williams RIP and John Starks.I am sure their are many more but these are the ones fresh on my mind.This new generation I barely know their first names.Lol But I am so happy for the city to bring this enjoyment and laughter on Memorial Day Monday! It’s been 13 years! Today,May 23,2026 a young tap me on the shoulder at the outlets.Just said “Thank you”.He didn’t go on to be a college player.But he won’t trade the experience of playing in New York as a youth.From Long Island to Queens,Brooklyn then 155th Ave Harlem,New York(The Rucker). Couldn’t stop talking about the shopping spree at Nike Store Manhattan. Luka is a true student athlete.He excels on the the court and in the classroom.Its been nearly 7 years since our acquaintance during Covid and finishing up high school with several accolades.Then to prep school with Cooper Academy,Director and my good friend /pro teammate Eric Cooper).Then stops at the juco level(Sierra College)and four year (Cal State Maritime)before its announcement of closure at the end of the season.So back to the drawing board again to hopefully finish his degree and one year of eligibility.Luka landed four year Fisher College Falcons Basketball in Boston,Mass.Once again he will complete his degree and his final year of eligibility to hoop.Congrats once again! I hear so many stories with those families with more than one daughter and wife.Like hurry up out the bathroom! Where are my jeans or tee shirts! Or where is my hair blower or brush.These three girls were amazing with a capital”A”.Two daughters became amazing wives.Now having there own children.The third daughter you already know! It’s May 2,2026 I just can’t believe that “God” thought enough of me to give me the “desire of my heart”.To play the game we all love.Its nearly 50 years.Actually,it’s more time then that when I took the first shot.So now I just try to give back and hope I am pleasing “God” hope I am not bothering any one.Remember this thought, “if you are not ashamed of me with man I will not be ashamed of you with my father” is a rephrasing of a direct quote from Jesus in the Bible regarding personal accountability, loyalty, and faith. It refers to the idea that if a person publicly acknowledges their faith in Jesus despite social pressure, Jesus will recognize them before God in heaven.I just dropped the mic.Love,Love more Love.DMFoundation!🙏🫶❤️💯🏀CPU Tigers! We met in the lab on April 10th at the Map facility.Their was a nice turnout for sure.Several emails,texts and phone calls came later from those who couldn’t make it.Now we are one month from the summer beginning.If you have a serious interest please attend May 8th 10am- noon “Map”facility.If you are still looking at options at this point I wish you the very bless.DMFoundation!🙏🏽🫶🏽❤️🏀💯Lets gooooo! It’s 90 years this club has been in existence and they were celebrating this past weekend.My day one guys Udo,Jörg,Harold and RIP Emir all the others.Its nice to know that the memories are still remembered 30 years later.Wow,do I miss you all very much.Real friends for life.Hope to see you one day soon.Love you all.DMFoundation🙏🏽❤️🫶🏽🏀💯✝️CPU Tigers!
