She learned to throw from her mom.
Sara Parker picked up flag football at 13 with no clue what it was. There was no pathway in front of her, so she built one. A program at her high school. Another at CEGEP. Another at Concordia, where she was president, GM, equipment manager and uniform designer at the same time. A Quebec university league founded in 2021.
She was named the best player at a World Championship her country won.
We counted every game of that tournament. Here is what the numbers say.
96% of Canada's passes were hers. Nobody leaned on one player that hard.
78% completion against the best teams in the world. The highest of any quarterback in the field.
157 throws against top-12 nations. Zero interceptions.
But this is the one that matters. Her 4th down conversion sat between 44 and 47% across three tournaments. At this one it was 64%, and she did it while nearly doubling how far she was willing to throw on that down.
That change started showing up in 2025. A year before anyone handed her a trophy.
You could see it coming. If you were counting.
