As a swim instructor, it’s common to form a bond with students at Sea Monkeys Swimming. Tony (center), along with siblings Max and Ella, has been a highlight of my weekly schedule. Tony loves the water! For him, the water offers mobility that is not attainable on land. The shared experience brings pure joy. I’m so appreciative.

There is a eureka moment for kids in a learn-to-swim process. Similar to riding a bike independently for the first time without the assistance of training wheels, it is a moment of awe and excitement. The facial expression changes. Fear is displaced with confidence and pride. This character development is a wonderful thing to behold and a privilege to be part of.

While Tony is not able to swim butterfly (yet), he can float independently on his back. There is nothing more inspiring than his smile. Nothing more rewarding.

Just want to give a shout out to Tony, Max, Ella, and all the students at Sea Monkeys Swimming.

We’d love to see you!
