Year 4 of working alongside the American Cancer Society as their Athlete & Sport Contractor, and the growth of this program continues to blow us away. Huge props to the ACS team, who leads this activation with unmatched heart and hustle—no one sees the late-night texts, the groans, the laughs, and the wins the way we do.

This season has already been record-breaking: more new ambassadors than ever, a lineup of incredible returning NFL players, and the largest social reach we’ve seen at launch. The creativity, joy, and impact in how these athletes are woven into ACS x NFL programming is something we’re deeply proud of.

Since 2009, Crucial Catch has raised more than $32M and helped deliver 840,000+ cancer screenings, impacting nearly 2M people. This year’s ambassadors are taking that legacy even further, amplifying prevention and early detection in communities that need it most. attended the Nevada Health Centers North Las Vegas Clinic earlier this month for a Crucial Catch community activation on behalf of .

Mattison toured the health center followed by remarks for the health center staff and a group of mammogram patients. Alex embodied the spirit of our ambassadors going the extra mile to touch the community by staying to interact with mammogram event attendees at the on-site activation, including playing games and signing autographs.

was extraordinary in this year's Olympic games. Although he and partner, Chase Budinger, concluded their run today with a loss in the round of 16, the pair put on a show in front of the Eiffel Tower.

This American team turned heads not only for their play, but their unique story line. Miles Evans got into the game of volleyball later than most, playing for UCSB and then coming to Los Angeles to pursue beach. He has had over 20 partners during his professional beach volleyball career, looking for the right fit. It wasn’t until 2023 that Miles paired up with Chase Budinger and would go on to qualify for his first Olympics.

Budinger, Miles' teammate, played professionally in the NBA from 2009 through the 2016 season for four different teams. He eventually stepped away from basketball to begin to focus on beach volleyball, also changing partners multiple times before ending up with Evans. Qualifying for the Olympics made Budinger the first person to play a regular season NBA game and Olympic beach volleyball.

We are proud of Miles Evans and his effort over the last couple of years to becoming one of the best athletes in the world.

The Center for Diversity in Cancer Research Training received an grant to support programming for 300 underrepresented high school, college, and post-Baccalaureate students interested in oncology and cancer research in 21 NBA markets. The Center was created in 2023 to increase diversity and inclusion in the cancer workforce by providing training and support to students that are underrepresented in science and health professions.

The NBA Foundation’s mission is to drive economic opportunity in the Black community through employment and career development by funding programs that generate successful transitions from school to meaningful employment for Black youth.

An inclusive research community more effectively addresses cancer disparities, invigorates problem-solving, drives innovation, and accelerates the American Cancer Society’s mission to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families.

"Shop with a Cop" initiative connects law enforcement officers with young individuals, providing them with high-quality clothing and footwear, while building community and smart conversation. During these events, officers help children pick out outfits and shoes for moments like the upcoming school season, summer recess, or holiday festivities.

The ultimate goal of this program is to allow law enforcement officers the opportunity to establish meaningful connections with young individuals.
