Good on Young Guy John for calling the old dude out for going through the questionable light at the end of the ride (like at the very end). The ride was over and the old dude would not have had a problem stopping.

Even better on Young Guy John for stepping up when the old dude asked who yelled.

Even betterer that he had a good reason and was willing to share the reason.

Everyone is wrong sometimes and sometimes it should be pointed out.

Just like riding on the Parkway. Come out on tuesday mornings for the Parkway Morning Session. Something for everyone. Or not.

Do all the laps, do some of the laps, cut laps, whatever it takes but don’t give up….ever.

Good times today riding up and down the parkway! Good job navigating the closed lane today. We also got to hear old man Leibert way too much today. Please be mindful of safety and optics when riding into the middle of intersections with a red light and cross traffic. Even if nothing perceivable happens, many drivers see that and react in a certain way.

Tuesday came and went. Far less animated discussion than last week, just as much speed. So many good things coming from Ms. Richardson! Set the example.

No photo again today.

Today’s ride had some animated discussion. In all truth, I have been involved in an animated discussion or two. It is never enjoyable and it never solves any issues. Mostly because there was no real issue to begin with.

Some go fast, some go slower, some race, some don’t. My goal (and the goal of many others I have spoken to) is to get up early, ride bikes safely, and ride bikes as quickly as I feel like to get a good workout.

There better not be anyone that has the goal of going to the morning session to be involved in an animated discussion.

This ride is the most diverse (socio-economically, racially, and ability) go fast group ride in the nation. We don’t all think the same way and that is a good thing.

Another great morning on the Parkway! More lights than usual, but you get what you get. Fast, Slow, and everything in between. Thanks for making this the best, most diverse, go fast ride in the country. Trophies for everyone. New people or new old people always welcome.
