PAN AMERICAN BRONZE. 🥉🇺🇸
Lucienne Markosyan finishes the Pan American Championships with a Bronze Medal for Team USA.
Proud is an understatement. 🇺🇸
This one means more than a medal.
It carries years of discipline, sacrifice, pressure, strict guidance, family support, and a team that kept pushing Lucienne to become the best version of herself.
She stepped onto the Pan American stage and fought five times:
🇺🇸 vs 🇨🇦 Canada 2:1 ✅
🇺🇸 vs 🇨🇷 Costa Rica 5:1 ✅
🇺🇸 vs 🇲🇽 Mexico 0:4 ❌
🇺🇸 vs 🇵🇪 Peru 4:0 ✅
🇺🇸 vs 🇧🇷 Brazil 5:5 ✅ Bronze Medal Final Match
5 fights. 4 wins. 1 loss. Pan American Bronze. 🥉
Last year, she came close. (5th place)
This year, she came back and stood on the podium.
But this journey was never only about the color of the medal.
The medal is part of the journey.
The real goal is what happens along the way. Becoming stronger, wiser, more disciplined, more confident, and more complete.
That is what happens when a young athlete has a strict mentor, consistent parents, and a strong team around her that refuses to let her settle for less.
The levels will keep changing.
National stage. Pan American stage. World stage.
But the deeper mission stays the same:
Keep growing into the best and most unique version of yourself.
There is no greater achievement than that.
Self-mastery was always the real victory.
And this is still only the beginning. ❤️🇺🇸🥋
A huge thank you to National Coach, Sensei Barbara Maile Chinen-Koncal for her guidance, support, and presence with Lucienne throughout the Pan American Championships. 🇺🇸🥋
Your experience, leadership, and support in those important moments meant a lot to us.
