Every Sunday, we offer a donation based Community Class. This Sunday, join Andrea Isco as she explores abdominal postures. Learn the healthy way to approach the practice of abdominal poses. Explore sequencing, props usage, and how abdominal poses connect to other poses and support the spine.

Join us Sunday May 31st, 1-3pm, for a class: Stability In Motion.

In āsana, yoga postures, we adjust and readjust the body, breath, attention, with attention and observation. Through this ongoing inquiry, stability is not created through rigidity, but through intelligent responsiveness and presence.

Many congratulations to Jaki Nett and Eric Small, two esteemed and beloved faculty members of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles. The Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States (IYNAUS) recognized their many years of service with the Lighting the Way award at the Cultivating Freedom Convention in Philadelphia. Both teachers, direct students of BKS Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar, have given selflessly. Eric has also been recognized for his work supporting people with multiple sclerosis and mobility conditions. Jaki teaches and mentors with a strong focus on functional anatomy. Teaching, guiding, supporting, they have transformed the lives of countless people. Eric, at the age of 93, continues to teach weekly at our institute. Jaki teaches online and comes to LA in person regularly. Their commitment, dedication, and wisdom is an inspiration. Their love and generosity will surely light the way for generations to come.
